We at Abraxi Taxi applaud the GOTR Mumford and Sons tour along with the city of Saint Augustine Florida for all the effort and hard work it must have taken to turn what I thought would be a traffic disaster,into a resounding success.
As a small taxi service in town getting around was never an issue.The police and sherrif departments did an awesome job directing historic downtown traffic and the multitudes of jaywalking tourists.
We salute all who contributed to this monumental event.You did the city proud.Perhaps this can become a yearly festival.
Let’s take what we have learned and apply it to other heavy traffic extravaganzas namely July 4th and the trademark Night of Lights.
Again hats off to Mumford and Sons for putting the Ancient City into the national limelight and generating a tremendous amount of revenue for my adopted city Saint Augustine Florida.
